Conservative talk radio hosts and the dumb things they often say and or suggest about others

This conversation will be about Conservative (or so called) talk radio hosts and the dumb things they often say or suggest about others.

This section is important to me in that often times callers with opposing views, opinions, or corrections, most never get through, and put on the air, instead more times than not, phone screener simply allows callers to get through who totally agree with radio hosts, and who totally echo what host already expresses, thus making it seem as if all people in audience support the radio host.

Well not here, here talk radio hosts will be held to account, and if they utter a untrue statement while on air that goes uncorrected, it will be corrected here, or explained in proper context.

Mark Steyn, often substitutes for Rush Limbaugh, and they're an Author and appear on Fox News often

Oh yes, Mark Steyn, I've heard them a lot over the years, mainly as a substitute host for Rush Limbaugh's show, and over the years I've always been annoyed by them, particularly their 1970's British accent, which makes them sound a lot older than they are.

I mean I visioned them looking more like a grey or silver haired Prince Charles type, rather than a younger Red Head.
Their 1970's James Bond British accent just makes them seem a lot older, when you hear them on the radio, and so was shocked to see how young they look.

What agitated me today about them is how they referenced 'Minorities' or 'non whites' on Rush Limbaugh's show.
They went even as far as to apply that Western colonial 'Black' terminology to Indian and middle Eastern, North African immigrants living in Northern Europe.

First off 'Black' is not a culture or a ethnicity, rather it's a generic colonial Western term that designates or brands people who aren't 'White', and usually in a negative way in that the term black comes pre-loaded with all sorts of mainly negative connotations about looks, style and mannerism.

All that aside (will get more in detail about  designating people by color on another post or section)

Anyways, like the typical colonial bred mindset from the 80's and back (when it was more mainstream), Mark Steyn tends to talk about other peoples he considers 'non White' as 'human objects' with astrich above head, 'black^, Indian*, Asian* and so forth.

As if because in his mind, they're not 'White', than they need special explanation for simple 'being', people to be studied and classified by 'the likes of him', for after all, Mark Steyn comes from a line of humans that's 'Above the rest', and as such only makes sense that he, or 'people like him' are the ones that classify other peoples identity and designation, but no one can do the same to him, because all other peoples, not deemed 'W' have astrich marks next to their humanity.

People like Mark Steyn approach all non Europeans as if all non Europeans were created in a scientific lab, and are still under development, and need to be explained, always explained and defined, not by their own cultures, or wise men within, (not good enough), but rather by people like him with uppity out dated British accents.

Just trying to set the tone folks, for how Conservative commentators like Mark S think.

There will be more about them, and their mentality, since they're impossible to reach on their show.

But in closing, it's the way they, Mark S referred to Muslims and 'Blacks' today that really annoyed me and showed me how uneducated they are about others.

They said 'Blacks more likely to get Corona virus, but Muslims not'...huh?, what?

First off Islam, like Christianity is not a 'Ethnic group', it's a religion, and within the religion of Islam you have Muslims worldwide of all colors and stripes, even 'Black ones'.

So if, according to Mark, Blacks more likely to get C virus, but not Muslims, than obviously he's talking about 'behavior those within Islamic communities, regardless of color, is what puts them less at risk.

And the 'Blacks' he referred to aren't even American, rather immigrants living in North Europe, but Mark decides to import his Western Colonial way of downsizing people to Northern Europe by referring to Indian and Philipine and other Asian immigrants as being 'Black', rather than by their nation of origin, tribal identity or ect.

Just call them 'black' thus stripping people of their identity, is the mindset of colonial western types like Mark S.

Anyways, more on this later, I tend to write to much thus losing original point.

Limbaugh, the Dunce, either is dumb or pretends to be[/size
Rush Limbaugh, the Dunce, is either dumb or just pretends to be for the sake of appeasing his audience. (this goes back years with me and him)

For one...

1. He continues to over simplify the complexity of political relations and outcomes by always summing everything up as a Democrat vs Republican total sum of everything that occurs.
In other words his dumbed down explanation for why the deficit keeps rising would be something like

'Well dem der Democrat just love to spend, cause that's what socialists and marxists do, is they spend, with half my brain tied behind my back...next caller'

Are you kidding me?, when a more adult response would be

'No politician, regardless of political leaning, is ever sent up to D.C. to conserve anything, rather their campaigns are funded by 'interests' who want them to funnel tax payer money back to said interests 'cause' or business, or to pass legistlation that favors said business or cause, ect.

I mean this idea that Republicans go to Washington D.C. to practice fiscal conservatism has to be the biggest con since, well since Limbaugh began telling that lie to his audience.

NO  one goes to D.C. to conserve anything, not Republicans, not Democrats, not even Independents.
Money makes the world go round, at least in the modern West, not Conservatism or Socialism or any other 'ism'.

'Isms' are simply a false marker!

Cause behind every 'ism' is a greedy capitalist.

Democrats, like Republicans, are simply conduits to special interests, they funnel money from the IRS (taxes) to whom and where ever....and there really is no politics involved at that level, just loyalty, and self interest, people trying to grab as much money out the pot while the pot still has money in it to grab.

And the same thing applies to what's going on with Corona virus, it's nothing more than a money grab, by all, repeat all politicians on both sides of the isle, and sadly it won't stop until nation fiscally destroyed, with stupid talk radio hosts like Rush telling his audience that 'It's dem Democrats doing all the spending folks, Republicans would never do that'

Again, are you kidding me??

Republicans love Rush Limbaugh cause all he does is provide convient cover for them, whether Dem or Rep President, Rush always blindly gives Republicans a free pass, thus nothing ever changes.

All this money being thrown out right now and do you see a single elected Republican rejecting the money??, yes, no?

Wake up Limbaugh listeners, you've been duped...

The blatant hypocrisy of the talk radio political right when it comes to resisting 'The Law'

The blatant hypocrisy of the talk radio political right, when it comes to obeying the law, is blinding.

Point at hand is under these strict Corona virus 'stay at home' or 'distancing' ordinances, many middle America types are resisting, and a few of these events captured on video, and the resisters (at least from what I've seen) are 'W'.

But here's the deal, for the last 20+ years, those who tune into talk radio constantly lectured about

'Well that black dude wouldn't of got shot, or clubbed over the head by the Police had they just complied with the law'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yeBtQeZfu0

I mean in above video, black dude surrounded by the police while picking up trash in their own front yard.
This stuff goes on all the time to 'black citizens', but time and time again told by talk radio conservative types that

'It's the law, just obey the law'...fine, but when 'Whites' stand up for their rights, it's always reversed, and the white person is always seen as defender of the Constitution...the defender of this Ammendment or that Ammendment...see the blatant contradiction?

If not than you're not being honest.

Now in above case, I'm willing to bet someone, looking through their curtain or driving by in a car so the black home owner picking up litter in own front yard, and assumed it was a 'bum', or vagrant trespassing, so to be fair to the Police, they probably are responding to an exaggerated 911 call which probably went something like this.

'Yes, this is 911'
'Ye, there's a black dude trespassing on another persons property, I think they're trying to break in, they look threatening, they may even be armed'.

911- OK, do you have a address

And so on, so I'm sure the Police showed up acting on the 911 call they received, I mean that's usually how it works, and is why if Black, and just strolling down the street, and cops show up out of no where, than you know it was a 911 call that alerted them to your presence.
And the calls can be made by anyone of any color in that often the 911 calls can be initiated by even other 'black folks', who have elitist attitude and are like 'I belong here, but that black person most certainly doesn't, let me call 911'.

But point is, blacks have been standing up for their civil rights forever in America, and more times than not, especially during the talk radio era, more times than not always seen as vagrant trouble makers who if they had just obeyed the Police commands, would still be alive or not have gotten bloodied up.

Yet if 'W', it's seen as your duty to challenge the law...

Blacks are wild and violent for challenge the law
Whites are patriotic and dutiful for challenging the law

Go figure.

Should the voice over artist be the same ethnicity of cartoon character they're speaking for?

Should voice over artist be the same ethnicity of cartoon character they're 'voicing' for?

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

I mean to me it only makes sense if trying to achieve authenticity.

But according to Chad Benson, Conservative talk radio host (again not sure what qualifies one as being 'Conservative' anymore), but according to Chad Benson, its much to do over nothing, but is it?

I mean I break it down a few ways.

1. Jobs, the rarity of job opportunities in that field is already very competitive, and if 95% or more of cartoon characters on TV are already 'W', and the voice over actors are two, than when 1 or 2 minority animated characters are developed, it only makes sense to me that you would hire person of same ethnicity of cartoon character to be their voice over.
I mean all white cartoon characters voiced over by 'white' actors, so why wouldn't it be the same for cartoon characters of color?

Fred Flintstone and Barney Rebel were'n't voiced over by two black or Hispanic dudes from Detroit, so why should a cartoon character of color be voiced over from a 'white chick' from Idaho?

Again, to me, it wouldn't be an issue if you routinely had black actors voicing over for white cartoon characters, but you do not have that, instead white cartoon characters are voiced over by 'white' performers.

And again it comes back to the already limited roles for minorities in Hollywood scripts, so when minority cartoon character developed, why not give it to person who matches ethnicity of cartoon?

Just like in those older Western flicks, society was so bias back then that all those Indians you see on screen fighting John Wayne, well, none of them were real Indians, rather they were 'white actors' in 'red face'.
Think of all the Indians who could of found employment had society not been so racist back then.

Hard for new generation to fathom that society was so racist that it wouldn't even allow real Indians to play themselves in roles written for, well, Indians.

Same with Asians, for the longest time it was always 'white actors' playing Asians, and is why Bruce Lee got bumped from the TV show 'Kung-Fu', cause was told he looked to Asian or 'ethnic' for the role, even though the character was to be Asian, yet they couldn't look Asian?

Talk about twisting reality.

The only time the ethnicity of voice over actors doesn't matter to me, is when playing the role of animated animals, then I don't think it matters whether a white or black or Asian person does the voice over for a cartoon Donkey or rabbit or Duck.

Anyways, that was about a worthless post... :-\
