First off, I was actually homeless many years ago, so what I speak is true...https://twylightzone.boards.net/thread/40/homelessness-good-bad-ugly-all?page=1

And here to say, some of these so called 'survival kit companies' are way over charging you...like this one here...https://4patriots.com/collections/food...sorry, but it don't cost no dam $500.00 to survive for 3 months when have nothing...hell no, not with dollar stores around every corner.

I mean if anything even before things go bad, just every week, every pay day, just go buy cans and cans of sardines, beans, Korn, ect, non perishable foods on your own, and store in your own chest or 'hiding places', is cheaper than their package...OK.

Go buy your own powdered milk, canned milk canned this or that, OK.

I was homeless folks, and lived for 3 months for way under 500 dollas...

Unless Mr/Mrs Howel from Gilligan's Island, you can survive for 3 months for way cheaper than that.

And if these folks want to challenge me, I'll be glad to face them, just come post on here and bring it.

Not your enemy, if anything just trying to make you better, and lest exploitive of others.

If want to survive after 'bad thing' occurs here's what you do...free advice folks

1. Every week, go to store and buy only stuff you don't intend to eat, canned fish, canned meats, can't fruit, canned this and canned that, and store it!
2. buy powdered milk, if that's important to you and or canned milk ect
3. Buy, stock up on vitamins, and store it  (although some say vitamins have limited shelf life)
4. Buy batteries, store them, buy water proof matches, store them, but propane heater stuff, store it.

5. If live in 'rural area' and own land, than spread these things out over large area, bury them in different locations.
And even if don't own land, do the same if familuar with area.

6. Buy water filter devices which allows you to purfify water instantly out of creek or river...this is a MUST!

7. Buy Crossbow, silent weapon, used for defense or hunting food, for in end times, silence, stealth, is best defense ever.

8. First aid kit of course.

9. Solar powered stuff of course, which I'll share more of later.

10. Laser sensor stuff, so that wherever 'parked' or camped, can be alerted to if anyone or thing closing in.

This is just the beginning , much more to follow...and please add your own ideas if want to.

Fuel tanker truck, used of course unless can afford new one

Without fuel what are you??????

Without fuel you're nothing more than a deer on the roadside, stranded and helpless.

So if can afford, you need to buy a fuel tank truck or many, and keep them full, for fuel is life.

Yes, no?

Don't waste money on a new car, instead buy a used full tanker and keep it loaded with fuel if want to survive when things get 'tough'.

About to order hand held portable water filtration system

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

I'm about to order something like this, water filtration system to where can just drink from a river, creek, pond, and it filters out like 99.9999% of contaminants, according to statement and according to the reviews I read of those who use it.

I need to start slowly building up some survival off the grid stuff, not all at once, but like once or twice I month I need to to ordering small stuff that could come in handy should things go south.

Don't have to be no 'Rambo' type either...just simple stuff...and water, drinking water, can't think of anything more vital to life than that, and then from there 'shelter'....

Unlike most other 'survivalist' minded folks, guns aren't apart of my planning, for I figure the minute I have to use a gun, than it's already to late, and guns are so very loud.

If have to use a gun than that means a posse is already closing in, or the 'Government' ect, and shooting at one or two people isn't going to save me at that point.

So my strategic plan is to simply remain' invisible' for as long as I can or could in such a scenerio.

If did get a weapon, it would be a crossbow, silent and also able to make own arrows.

To me, in order to survive in appocolyptic world, silence is key to survival, not loud noises which simply give your location away.

Not only that, but not really trying to 'kill people' if in that situation.

I guess it's one thing if on a compound and have 20 + people with you, women, children and stuff to protect, that's one thing, but if a loner type just trying to survive in the woods alone, I don't need guns and all, maybe one firearm, but that's it.

Cause in such a world, would probably just steal or remove firearms from corpses or abandoned homes or businesses, like if some Zombie thing broke out or something.

I think the next thing I'll order will be some survival back pack type stuff, with fold up shovel.

People in the Army have been using shovels forever to dig trenches ect.

If trying to survive in nature alone, would for sure need shovel and a ax, and of course water proof matches or anything that can start a fire, that's also key.

Fire Starter is a must if want to survive in the woods or desert

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

I mean how many movies have we seen where 1 or 2 people stranded, it's dark, cold, and matches wet...well I can't take that chance should I ever be caught in forest at night alone and in need of heat, as such a fire starter is a great survival tool to have.

And if things go bad, people have this idea that you'll have to survive 100's of miles in the woods, not true, more realistically you'll have to survive off the grid very near a city...a city is very large and cities have lots of wooded areas in them, tunnels, abandoned buildings and more, I think more realistically many will have to survive off the grid within large cities or not far from.

One doesn't realize how vast a city is until have to walk it.

Motion detector for when sleeping outside or inside of abandoned building

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

The only bad thing about this, that I just thought of, is that the 'watch' has to be 'charged', and in bad times obviously won't have access to electrical outlet...this would work, however, if just out for the weekend or something while camping, but in true long term bad situation, would probably have to use old fashion fishing line for 'trip wire', with bells on it, like in the movies, incase the Zombies start closing in as you sleep.
